The LiDo Lowdown

Okay, so basically this is what's up over here in Denver, Colorado. After a week and a half of attending graduate classes at the University of Colorado at Denver to get a masters of humanities, I decided, "Eh. This ain't for me." I started seriously rethinking the direction of my life...AND...have decided to go into Special Education! I just got a job in the public school system working with kids with special needs. It's a good change. Yippee!!

Tug O' War

Many of you might be asking, "So...What's Next?!" Well, I'm so glad you asked! I am looking into post-baccalaureate sp.ed certification programs...the most promising being at BYU!! I never thought I'd go back to the Y, but I am REALLY excited about this possible opportunity, especially now that my family lives in Utah! Every now and then, though, I feel a tug back to the East Coast...namely DC...we'll see if that goes anywhere! Hmmm...who will win this game of tug o' war? East? West? We'll see!

Loft n' Living Room

My upstairs lair - the loft and hallway to the bedroom . We're still moving in a bit, as is evidenced by the messy dining room. To the right is the kitchen and to the left is Brooke's wing.

The loft area. which stems off my bedroom and bathroom suite!

The Living Room taken from the loft area. Note the sweet balcony (hidden behind white blinds)!

The Bedroom

My bedroom - Note the sweet balcony! Yup...basically I live in luxury.

A closet full of clothes from Taiwan!

The Beauties of a Small Town

I love small towns! Their peace and inner-contentment sweetly sings me to slumber until all I have to wonder upon is how the hollyhocks grow.
Behind Mom and Pop's. Beauty, eh?
